This Franchi bolt action rifle is ideally inspired by the US Scout Rifles, firearms that, given their characteristics, lend themselves to multiple uses in hunting. The first features that stand out in Horizon All Terrain are compactness and precision. The first determines a great ease of movement, adapting with versatility to situations that require speed of movement, the second makes it an excellent ally not only in hunting, but also at the shooting range. Like every Horizon, it is delivered with a certificate of accuracy of 1 M.O.A. on a three-shot pattern. The finish of this rifle is the True Timber Strata camouflage, which covers the stock and gives it a modern and captivating style. In addition to the aesthetic aspect, it is the functionality that is enhanced. In fact, the Strata camo, which is also found on another model of Horizon bolt action, incorporates macro and micro camouflage patterns. If the macro-patterns break down the shape of the rifle at all distances, the micro-patterns make sure to merge it with any terrain at close range. From the open countryside to the mixed forests, to the foliage-free hardwood woods, the bolt profile will simply vanish into the vegetation. Like all rifles in the Elite line by Franchi, the barrel, muzzle brake and action are covered with the Cerakote treatment, which improves their resistance to atmospheric agents.
Horizon All Terrain Elite Strata is available in calibres .308 WIN (18” barrel, 11” pitch) and .223 REM (18” barrel, 9” pitch) with fluted shutter and 10-rounds removable magazine.
This rifle has a long Picatinny rail, which allows you to move the optics away and thus enlarge the field of view, and is free floating, so as not to touch the barrel for the benefit of precision. It also has features like folding Flip Up sights, a rear and a front (ghost ring). The forearm has 6 M-LOK attachments, 2 on each side and 2 at the bottom. The stock is equipped with interchangeable TSA Recoil Pad (L.O.P. 355 mm), interchangeable comb (standard medium) and interchangeable pistol grip, with the dedicated grip fitted as standard with a profile and dimensions studied according to the type of “multiple” use envisaged for the bolt action. It is also possible to request the largest and vertically inclined Varmint grip as an option. The Relia Trigger is adjustable from 800 to 1,900 grams. Horizon All Terrain Elite Strata features a 7-year warranty on mechanical parts.
